Cairdac

Cairdac is the French MedTech start-up that developed the world’s first autonomous leadless pacemaker. They have incorporated an energy harvesting module, synchronized with cardiac rhythm, and powering the device with no energy limitation, using the heart’s own kinetic energy.

The company took off in 2016 with the synergetic partnership of high-profile experts in piezoelectric technology and CRM (Cardiac Rhythm Management) to overcome the limitations of current leadless pacemakers.

Early 2022, Korys took part in Cairdac’s first Series A fundraising, via the OMX Europe Venture Fund. The focus of this new investment was to enable Cairdac to move to the next stage(s) of development and clinical studies.
